Southfield is centrally located in Metro Detroit and is known as one of the Region’s premier business addresses, featuring a variety of national and global companies. Southfield has many recreational options. The Southfield Municipal Complex is home to the Miracle League Field of Dreams, Michigan’s first baseball field for children with a physical or mental disability, as well as the Southfield Sports Arena, which houses an ice rink and outdoor pool, Evergreen Hills 9-hole golf course, and Evergreen Woods Nature Trail. The city is also home to the 25,000-square-foot Southfield Pavilion and the state-of-the-art Southfield Public Library, which is home to three floors of beautiful architecture and more than 250,000 books.
