Preston Welborne
My name is Preston Welborne. I am a Cinematic Arts sophomore, currently at Oakland Community College; planning to transfer to a 4-year university, Winter 2021, to pursue my bachelor’s degree in film, television and media. I am an avid Portrait Photographer and Commercial Filmmaker. I am the founder and CEO of my own production company, PFP Studios LLC. I love living, learning, and finding new things to do with family, friends, and media. I enjoy encouraging other people to discover their creative talents and learning more about arts and culture in our community.
I love exploring the Metro Detroit Regional area, finding new locations to photograph or go to enjoy myself. Being filled with ‘the Spirit of Detroit’ always leads me to searching for new spaces and opportunities to grow, it’s part of who I am! I am not an expert, in my short 21 years here, but I definitely know where to go to have a good time, where to go to learn and network, and where to go to play or relax.
