Four Must-Visit Farmers' Markets in Southeast Michigan
Two things you will never run short of in Southeast Michigan are community events and recreational fun. Spring brings a lot of both, and one of my favorites is farmers’ markets! You are able to support amazing local vendors by shopping for fruits, vegetables, artisan meats and cheeses, and so much more.
I’ve personally enjoyed many of the farmers’ markets around the region, and some of my favorites are listed below.
Eastern Market - Detroit, MI USA
This historical market has been the start of many Detroiters’ Saturday mornings for years. Some customers have been attending it since 1963 and have no intention of stopping. Shopping at Eastern Market is an experience every Detroiter should have (and something visitors should add to their bucket list) as there is a variety of vendors and craftsmen offering fresh and unique items. It is almost impossible to attend and not leave with something you’ll love. At this market, every visit is an adventure that will never disappoint you.
Northwest Detroit Farmers Market
