Favorite Hidden Fall Gems in Metro Detroit
CiTeara Wade
Fall is one of my favorite seasons, especially when I am in the Detroit area. There’s so much to do and many activities to engage in. Some of my favorites are activities, while others are chill, cozy, sweater weather places that feel like fall. The fall season gives me the time and space to be with loved ones and to be festive during the season.
Check out my list of favorite spots in Metro Detroit to visit during the fall season.
1
Three Cedars Farm
7897 Six Mile Rd - Northville, MI 48168 USA
I usually go with friends and family to this cider mill to enjoy the sugar donuts and hot apple cider. I recommend going on a weekday to beat the crowds!
2
Hush Haunted Attraction
37550 Cherry Hill Rd - Westland, MI 48185 USA
Haunted houses are popular between my friends and me. It’s always a good time and a great way to create new memories every year.
3
Campus Martius
800 Woodward Ave - Detroit, MI 48226 USA
This area in Downtown Detroit is special to me, especially since it’s a safe, fun space in the city. There is a lot to do even during the fall here. Visiting some of the shops and restaurants in the area is the best, and, in late November, they have the annual tree lighting.
4
Eastern Market
Eastern Market - Detroit, MI USA
Visiting Eastern Market during the fall is one of my favorite things to do, and I enjoy seeing all the vendors. Some vendors may be selling pumpkins or fall-inspired products, and you never know what kinds of gems you may find venturing into shops during the fall season.
