This April, Detroit is retaining its nickname as Motor City with the returning M1 Concourse Cars and Coffee event. Held at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac on April 2 from 8:30-11 a.m., the event will be recurring and hosted on the first Saturday of each month in 2022.
Each month, the event will feature a class of vehicles. Street rods, custom cars, and hot rods are April’s exclusive feature, and attendees driving them will be provided preferred parking in the event area, although all vehicle makes, models, and years are welcome. Parking is first-come, first-served. Attendees also have the opportunity to showcase their cars on the track, but they must be a collectible car or show-worthy daily driver.
Fun Fact: Cars and Coffee is the largest car event to be held in Michigan!
M1 Concourse is a state-of-the-art facility located on 87-acres of historic property that hosts all things automotive in Metro Detroit. It offers any indoor and outdoor spaces, covering a 1.5-mile Champion Motor Speedway. Car enthusiasts local and worldwide often come to showcase their vehicles. If you are attending a Cars and Coffee event at the M1 Concourse, there are a few important things to know. Please be respectful to all vehicles and follow CDC guidelines for social distancing practices while attending the event.
There will be public/spectator (non-show car) parking available in the south lot located across the street from M1 Concourse (394 Howland Ave., Pontiac, MI 48341). Please adhere to the signage that will direct you into the spectator lot. Parking is first-come, first-served; please do not hold parking spots. The use of drones will not be allowed during the event.
