Residents can also enjoy the exercise path that winds its way through the park by the city’s tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, shuffleboard lanes, and swinging chairs (built for up to three people). Nearby are the football field, track, and baseball and soccer fields.
Throughout the city, Clawson’s streets are lined with trees, earning its recognition as a Tree City US. It demonstrates a commitment to environmental sustainability throughout its quiet residential neighborhoods and downtown, which hosts the city’s Down on Main Car Show, Cinema in the Streets, and other festivals during the warmer seasons. Also downtown is award-winning dining and shopping spots, offering visitors and residents a chance to window shop, enjoy a bite to eat, and take in the community.
