According to the Historic Boston-Edison Association, the oldest continuous neighborhood association in the city, founded in 1921, this neighborhood is a multi-racial, multi-ethnic neighborhood, filled with neighbors from diverse occupations and professions who share a common appreciation and love of historic homes. Neighbors participate in an active community with various activities that bring people together. “There’s always a place for new people who want a welcoming and friendly community, conveniently close to much of what Detroit has to offer.”
