Young talent considering a move back to Southeast Michigan, upcoming or recent college graduates, and local young professionals seeking to grow or switch careers are invited to Come Home to Detroit on Nov. 21. This free, casual networking event will be held at Valentine Distilling Co. in Ferndale from 4-7 
p.m.
Attendees can connect with top employers in a casual, fun setting. Stop by and grab a drink, a bite to eat, and explore career opportunities. Let’s Detroit ambassadors will also be available to answer questions about living and playing in the area for those considering a move back to Michigan.
Participating companies include Bosch, Citizens, Cooper Standard, Cummins, Franco, HELLA, Kelly, and Optech.
The event is free, but registration is required.
Prepare for the event by registering for the Resume and LinkedIn Workshop on Nov. 6, 4-7 p.m. at Bamboo in Royal Oak. Hear from Angela Buccellato, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of The Resume Rescue, on networking and interviewing best practices. Then, sign up for a mini (10-minute) resume or LinkedIn coaching session. Registration is required.
