Celebrating Black Young Professionals Series: Women’s History Month | Featuring Nayana Ferguson

Join us are we celebrate Women’s History Month by watching our “Celebrating Black Young Professionals” series with Nayana Ferguson, Co-Owner of Anteel Tequila.  In the video above, Nayana shares her why for starting her business, the meaning behind the brand name, and being a trailblazer in the spirits industry as the first black woman to start a tequila brand.

Nayana graduated from Cass Technological High School, has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and obtained her MBA.  Along with her husband, Nayana also has a Business Consulting company to help others to begin their path of entrepreneurship.  Nayana is also a 15-year pancreatic cancer and 8-year breast cancer survivor.  She is a volunteer with the Detroit affiliate of the Pancreatic Cancer Network, devoting her time to bringing awareness and hope to the families that are going through this challenge by speaking about her experience with pancreatic cancer.
