My story
My name is Raynisha Pannell and I am in my fourth year at Eastern Michigan University (EMU), where I am majoring in General Business. I grew up on Detroit’s west side, where I was raised by many loving family members. Being a first generation college student has its perks and hardships, but I am excited because it is all getting ready to pay off in the near future. I enjoy mentoring others and spreading positivity in the world.

What I love most about working in Southeast Michigan
I love living in Detroit because there is so much beauty within the city from Downtown Detroit to my own neighborhood; it just goes unnoticed by a lot of people due to the media. I want to build my career in Detroit because I want to give back to my community and help my community continue to flourish into a lovely city.
