My story
I am a lifelong resident of Southwest Detroit. I am passionate about how public service and youth mentoring intersect with community development in the city. I attended Cass Technical High School and recently graduated from Wayne State University in Public Affairs. My love for the city of Detroit is the reason why I chose to stay here and continue to be a part of its ongoing transformation.
how I got started
My family always encouraged me to participate politically whether it is in the form of simply voting, going to demonstrations, and connecting with change makers in the community. The influence stuck, and now I continue to work in government and non-profit contexts to affect change.
What I love most about working in Southeast Michigan
I meet people from every corner of the world and I am grateful to be able to learn about other cultures and backgrounds. Also, we have AMAZING restaurants all over Southeast Michigan!
