My story
I was born into a family of four siblings, and I am the youngest of them all. Currently, I am a freshman in college and plan to graduate in 2026 after I get accepted into nursing school, hopefully at Eastern Michigan University. I chose Eastern’s program based on my love for its nursing program and the campus itself.
I have lived in the Detroit area my entire life and have always been in love with it. Even though I lived in Detroit and attended Lincoln Park High School, my family somehow always moved back to the city. In my spare time, I enjoy sharing awareness of important issues through social media, going to the gym, and visiting downtown Detroit, especially during the holidays.
Aside from being an extrovert, I would consider myself to be an open-minded individual who is very open to new experiences. It is a pleasure to attend social events, whether in my community or at school. There is something about me that can’t help but always be involved in things.
What I love most about living in Southeast Michigan
What I love most about working in Southeast Michigan
The city of Detroit is a very special place to me, as it is my hometown. There are many beautiful places to visit downtown despite its undeserved negative reputation. There are so many beautiful sites to see in the city, and it all takes me back to my childhood. Detroit also has many small businesses that are growing, and I love watching them develop. It’s comforting to me, in a way, knowing that this is where I grew up and where I will be spending my next chapter.
