Thomas Droste

My story

I’m Thomas Droste from Grand Rapids, Michigan! I’m a senior majoring in business with a minor in history (U.S. law and policy concentration) at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I’m an avid cyclist, writer and traveler, and love all things musicals!

My major

I chose business administration to develop my analytical and resource management skills, and my career goals include increasing art and cultural engagement in the private and public sphere alike. I’ve had internships with the U-M Institute for the Humanities as a program and event coordinator and recently completed a finance internship with the Metropolitan Museum of Design Detroit.

What I love most about Southeast Michigan

Detroit’s gorgeous design, vibrant culture, and incredible history make it a perfect crossroads for my career goals and personal interests!
