Volunteer as a Smoke Detector Installer or Sound the Alarm Volunteer

Join the Red Cross and collaborative community partners in raising awareness about the importance of working smoke alarms in safeguarding against home fires. The Red Cross is committed to installing free smoke alarms year-round, and annually, during spring, they actively engage with communities through scheduled smoke alarm installation events across our five Red Cross Michigan chapters to promote fire safety awareness. Consider volunteering and supporting their mission to protect and preserve lives. By volunteering, your participation can help save lives and work towards reducing the risk of deaths resulting from non-working or lack of smoke detectors in the home.
