You’re Invited: Detroit Future City Advanced Mobility Worker and Learner Focus Groups

Detroit Future City is hosting two focus groups on Nov. 29 and Dec. 2. to better understand the needs and challenges of current workers in the automotive manufacturing and advanced mobility sector and those seeking to enter this changing industry.

Detroit Future City (DFC) wants to hear from you! In efforts to better understand the needs and challenges of current workers in the automotive manufacturing and advanced mobility sector and those seeking to enter this changing industry, DFC will host two focus groups on Nov. 29 and Dec. 2.

DFC is seeking professionals employed in the following sectors for its Advanced Mobility Learner Focus Group on Wednesday, Nov. 29: automotive manufacturing, alternative energy, information technology, or transportation.

On Saturday, Dec. 2, DFC is seeking individuals currently enrolled in an educational or workforce development program with a focus on automotive manufacturing, alternative energy, information technology, or transportation infrastructure for its Advanced Mobility Learner Focus Group on Saturday, Dec. 2.

This project is a part of the Global Epicenter for Mobility (GEM). The research will inform the development of an equity framework which will support the development and improvement of inclusive employment attraction and retention programs alongside training programs in the industries that support the emerging advanced mobility sectors.
