How long have you worked at Bosch?

I have worked at Bosch for 13 years. I started in the Rotational Development Program, where I had the opportunity to work with several teams on many different projects, all while having the support of an executive mentor. From there, I held a few different positions before taking on my current role in 2022.

What is the most exciting part of your job?

I enjoy working on cutting-edge driver assistance and automated driving technology while working with an energetic and capable team.

What type of projects does your team work on?

My team leads vehicle integration of sensors (i.e., near-range cameras, ultrasonic sensors, radar, lidar, etc.) to implement automated driving functions and data collection for development.

What do you look for when you are staffing your team?

I seek out candidates who have a technical background, are self-motivated, eager to learn, have good communication skills, and are team players who collaborate well with others. We have a strong team culture at Bosch, so we look for team-oriented individuals.

Why should job seekers consider Bosch?

Bosch is composed of intelligent and passionate associates focused on developing and producing high-quality products to positively impact customers’ lives.

What advice would you give to someone interested in working for Bosch?

I would recommend researching Bosch to understand some of the many products the company produces and, of course, monitoring the job board to look for available internship, co-op, and full-time positions.

Why do you love the metro Detroit region?

After relocating from North Carolina, I see metro Detroit as an amazing place for sports fans, foodies who enjoy trying new restaurants and cuisines, automotive and technology enthusiasts, and music and history buffs.
