On April 4, registration opened for the 2023 Motor City Makeover 365, an annual citywide volunteer clean-up and beautification initiative. Annually, thousands of volunteers across the Region come together to clean and beautify neighborhoods, parks, playgrounds, and around businesses, schools, and places of worship.
The project will take place on three Saturdays in May: May 6 for Districts 1, 2, and 3; May 13 for Districts 4 and 5; and May 20 for District 7.
The City of Detroit said that neighborhood groups who want to participate must register with the city in order to receive flowers and supplies and schedule special pick-ups. Upon registration, the district managers will give supply pick-up information.
