Jose L. Flores is a dynamic and disruptive leader in the automotive industry, currently serving as the CEO of Ancor Automotive, a global Tier 1 supplier of data management and automotive label solutions. Flores is renowned for his multilingual proficiency within the automotive sector and was recognized as a 2023 DBusiness Magazine 30 in Their Thirties recipient. He spearheaded the launch of the Ancor Automotive Software Innovation Hub, introducing groundbreaking solutions like the Battery Passport, a cutting-edge software solution for tracking and managing information. Prior to his role at Ancor Automotive, Flores held key leadership roles at the London Consulting Group. During his tenure, he provided invaluable operational expertise across a diverse range of industries throughout five countries. Seeking new challenges, Flores relocated to Michigan, where he assumed a leadership position at Industrial Automation, a prominent manufacturer based in Rochester Hills. Flores is actively involved in charities, nonprofit board like the Michigan Science Center and professional organizations, He is heavily involved with The Detroit Regional Chamber including MICHauto, Leadership Detroit Class XLIII, and is a Let’s Detroit ambassador. His expertise and passion make him a sought-after speaker and influencer in the automotive manufacturing space.

What I love most about working in Southeast Michigan
I love the vibe of Detroit, the diversity of people you meet and that everyone has a very interesting story of how they ended up in Detroit. The entertainment offer is just amazing, and you will never get bored since there is something to do every single season. Summer, you can be at the lake; fall, the cider mills; winter, snow sports. You name it. There is a place for everyone here at Detroit.
