About Our Organziation:

FoodCorps serves to connect kids to healthy food in school. FoodCorps’ trained AmeriCorps members deliver our evidence-backed program to grades K-5 in schools, working with staff, students, and community members to get kids eating healthy in the classroom, school gardens and cafeteria.

We serve in 27 Schools in Michigan, including 6 in Detroit and 9 in Flint. In 2019 we reached more than 10,832 student, completed more than 200 cafeteria taste tests and conducted nearly 2,400 hands-on lessons – half of which included food tastings.
