Black Power: Militant Black History – Eastside

Please join Black Scroll Network History & Tours and historian Jamon Jordan on a tour of important sites connected to the Black militant liberation movement. 

We will visit and teach/learn about sites connected with: Ossian Sweet, the Black Panther Party, the 1943 Race Riot, James & Grace Lee Boggs, the Nation of Islam, the Underground Railroad and MORE!

Time: 11am-2:30pm 
Meeting Place: Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History
Bus Tour Price: $25
Includes Bus Tour, History Lecture, water & a snack.

This Bus Tour is the FIRST of TWO Black Power Tours!
The Second Tour – Black Power on the Westside – is On Sunday, October 27th at the same time from 11am-3PM.
