Being from a small town north of Detroit, my goal was always to expand my network, travel the world, and prove I could make it in ‘the city’. While completing graduate degrees in Finance and Economics, I also focused on self-growth, positivity, and wellness. All these things helped to push me into the strong, strategic, appreciative go-getter I am today. I’m passionate about problem solving, millennials in the workplace, and understanding my top 5 Strengths Finders characteristics: Ideation, Strategic, Analytical, Maximizer, and Relator.
how I got started
A little over 10 years ago, I took a temporary job as a coordinator with a local staffing agency. Within two months, I’d proved my strategic and analytical capabilities and stayed on the project far longer than anyone else. I put in the hard work and it led to a full-time opportunity which blossomed into more than 10 years of experience in the staffing and contingent workforce planning industry. Throughout this last decade, I’ve had the privilege of leading people across the world, created countless efficiencies, influenced teams that weren’t my own, and established a reputation for being a strong analyst, change maker, and even better leader.
On the side, I have a consulting business that works to serve small businesses in creating efficiencies that enable them to operate more effectively. I also enjoy being a ‘life-coach’ to anyone looking to make a change in their life!
What I love most about working in Southeast Michigan
I love the diversity of people, thoughts, and ideas that surround Metro Detroit. Diversity brings about ingenuity and innovation; it also enriches my personal life through relationships and opportunities for learning.
