As an account supervisor for Antenna Group’s mobility practice, I focus on strategy development, media relations, and project management across account teams. I work closely with executives at global mobility startups to expand their brand awareness and build relationships with the media. Prior to coming to Antenna Group, I was a marketing communications manager at Shift Transit, a mobility operations start-up focusing on shared first/last-mile transportation options. During my time with Shift Transit, I led the overall b2b and b2c marketing communications strategy as well as content development and engagement efforts. Additionally, I was a digital marketing manager and conference specialist for leading automotive b2b publication, Automotive News, a Crain Communications publication.
Outside of work, I spend much of my spare time biking through Downtown Detroit or camping and exploring in the woods of northern Michigan with my partner, Jackson, and our two dogs, Cuda and Elsa.
how I got started
After I earned my bachelor’s in communications and marketing I was a server at various bars and restaurants in downtown Detroit, eventually growing into a coordinator position on the event sales team at a downtown restaurant and venue. That opportunity evolved into moving across the country (and back!) and later into the mobility PR world. I credit everything I have now to a handful of people simply giving me a chance early on in my career.
What I love most about working in Southeast Michigan
I love living and working in the city. Detroit is truly a magical place filled with amazing people and opportunities around every corner. The connections I’ve made in Detroit are hardworking, supportive, collaborative, and most of all––kind and caring.
