My name is Corydon Martin. I go by Cord for short! I am a born and raised Detroiter who currently lives in East English Village. I work for ROSSETTI Architects who’s roots were founded in Detroit and goes back 51 years. We do a lot of work in the city and try and give back to Detroiters as much as we can. I have a degree in photography and marketing with specialization in marketing and media planning. I love being outdoors, the automotive industry and spending time in the city.
how I got started
I got started in my career back when I was in High School and I was offered a summer internship position with HGTV and the DIY Network. At the time I was writing a grant through my high schools’ arts program where I was going to be photographing Detroit during its Bankruptcy in 2013.
What I love most about working in Southeast Michigan
I enjoy working in Southeast Michigan because of its inspiration, open communication and idea that no matter who you are, what you believe in or what you do. Everyone is open and willing to share and work with you. There is an energy in Detroit that is unlike any other.
