I love to learn about everything and be connected to my community by giving back. When I was in college, I was part of many student organizations, but one of the most impactful for me was the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. I was also part of my school’s Minority Engineering Recruitment and Retention Program. These two organizations had a big impact on my life both personally and professionally. I love to spend my free time giving back to these organizations that gave me so much. Aside from that, I am a major cat lover and have spent time helping shelters and fostering cats! I also love to read, spend time with my husband, play classical guitar, and spend time outdoors running.
how I got started
I graduated from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Prior to Bosch, I completed internships at two other companies. After graduation, I landed a job in Bosch’s Rotational Program where I learned about software development, software testing, manufacturing, and software architecture. I currently work as a software engineer for Bosch in automotive steering.
What I love most about working in Southeast Michigan
I love that I can go outside and have so many outdoors activities to do. I constantly join meetup groups and get to meet other young professionals. There is so much to do – running, speaking Spanish, reading, rock climbing groups – that I do not feel like I have enough time in the day to do everything I want.
